Cathy Simone is a Photographic Illustrator and Photoshop Artist based in Calgary, Alberta.
Her traditional education of film and darkroom developed an appreciation of light and shadow, diligence and patience of practice, and respect for the art of photography. The shift from film to digital was inevitable, influencing photography to a new level of conceptual ideas and technical excellence. Photoshop introduced the ability to create the impossible, and the possibility to elevate photography beyond that of initial capture. Whether film or digital, darkroom or Photoshop, passion for process prevails.
An ACAD graduate Class of 1992, Cathy works in a commercial studio with photographer Jason Stang. 20 years of experience has presented the opportunity to work with brilliant creatives within industry and Photoshop has allowed almost a decade of producing images that exemplify this modern medium. Cathy collaborates with talented photographic artists who exhibit internationally and who strive to achieve the extraordinary quality and tangible aesthetic of film in this digital age. She teaches Photoshop to the promising 4th year photography majors at the Alberta College of Art + Design, instructs seminars & workshops to the dedicated photography community, and provides digital imaging, post-production, illustration, consultation and direction to numerous photographic professionals. Cathy’s ambition is to share technical expertise, practical knowledge, creativity and craftsmanship with those who have passion for photography and process.

Suddha is a photographer, an adventure and a Lightroom aficionado. Suddha has taught Lightroom to photographers of all levels and helped them streamline their workflow and speed up their post processing.
Whenever he gets an opportunity Suddha loves to go on adventures with his camera. Suddha has travelled to the Uros people of South America that live on the floating reed islands in Lake Titicaca, zip-lined over Anaconda infested rivers, spent several nights in a tent in the jungles of India in search of a tiger.
It is evident from his style of teaching, which is filled with fun and unique graphics that he truly believes that “A picture is worth a thousand words”.

Renee is a photographer and painter whose oeuvre exists in both the fine art and commercial industries. She studies photography and painting at the Alberta College of Art and Design in Calgary and runs her commercial photography business that offers wedding, portrait, editorial and event photography services. Greg Gerla is a commercial and fine art photographer operating a studio in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.He also holds an instructor position within the Design/Photography Department of the Alberta College of Art and Design.

Greg has had several exhibitions of his fine art work locally, and abroad. His most recent show is the Group Faculty Show at the Illingworth Kerr Gallery at the Alberta College of Art + Design. Greg served on the National Board of CAPIC (Canadian Association of Professional Image Creators) from 2002-2005. He served as president of the Prairie Chapter of CAPIC from 2004-2007, and remains on the Board today. Greg is also on the board for the Exposure: Banff Calgary Canmore Photography Festival, which takes place every February.
Greg gets around. He recently photographed his road trip to Los Angeles, and across the historic route 66. He’s photographed a fashion project in Jamaica. He also spent time shooting in Moscow, Russia. Greg continues to be inspired by what’s outside his door, or across the oceans…

In his twenty-plus years behind the camera Craig Wrobleski csc has served as Director of Photography on productions of every description.
Craig’s drama credits include the feature films Rufus and 45 RPM and numerous TV movies including Held Hostage, Northern Lights, Love Sick, Hush Little Baby, Don’t Cry Now and others. Other television work includes more than 50 episodes of the CBC Television series Heartland as well as the TV movie A Heartland Christmas. He has also completed Second Unit photography on the feature films Boot Camp and Big City and the acclaimed mini-series Human Trafficking as well as shooting award winning work on short films such as Glue, June, Pieces of Eight, Bohemians, Insomniac, and The Office.
In addition, Craig has photographed hundreds of commercials and promos for broadcast all over North America. He has shot spots for directors from across Canada and the US. Many of the spots have garnered awards internationally. Craig has served as Director of Photography on over 30 live concert specials aired on MTV, CMT, CBC and PBS.
Craig’s work as a Director of Photography has taken him across Canada and to locations throughout the United States, Europe and Asia and the South Pacific. His photography has been singled out for awards at the Canadian Society of Cinematographers, Yorkton Film Festival, The Alberta Motion Picture Industry Awards and The Iris Awards. Craig has been a full member of the Canadian Society of Cinematographers since January 2001 and is a Directory of Photography member of IATSE Local 669. In addition he has taught lighting seminars at the Calgary Society of Independent Filmmakers, SAIT and IATSE 212 and is a sessional instructor at Mount Royal University in Calgary.
